Things to Keep in Mind When Buying A Home
When buying a house, look at the "bones" of it so to speak. When I say that I mean look at the structure of the home. Don't pay attention to things that don't matter like, wallpaper and flooring because you can rip that up as soon as you move in! Look for things that can not be changed easily and ask yourself,
  • Do I like this floorplan?
  • Do I prefer an on-suite opposed to a normal full bath?
  • What size yard am I looking for?
  • Is location a big deal in my decision?
  • Do I need office space?
  • Does my budget comply with my wish list?
  • Do I need a large kitchen?
  • Is the school system nice in this area?
  • Do I want a move in ready home
These are factors that can not be changed and if they can, renovation is extremely expensive. Most people often don’t consider the things listed above when house hunting, and they end up buying a home that doesn’t meet their needs later on in life. With that being said, I encourage all house hunters to keep the unchangeable aspects of a home things in mind other things that can be shifted like lighting and bathroom tiles.
